Who are you? Jelena Pucar

How old are you? 25 year old mum of two!

What got you interested in plumbing? I've always wanted to get into a trade but it was never the right time, I've come to realize there never will be a 'right' time so I just decided to dive right in when this amazing opportunity presented itself.

What were you doing before plumbing? I've been working in admin for the last 6 years.

Where do you want to go with plumbing? I'd like to become a qualified plumber working for a reputable company.

What do you think of the Women in Plumbing program, and Certificate 2 course? I think it's an amazing opportunity. Master Plumbers have been really great and supportive throughout the whole experience. I'm so glad I choose to do this. The fact that the program offers for women to get paid while completing the Cert 2 is a massive game changer and enables women like myself to give the trade a go without worrying about how we are going to pay our bills.

Do you have any advice for women/girls out there thinking about getting into plumbing? Give it a go. You have nothing to lose by trying something new, and everything to gain!
